A zebra crossing is being proposed on Heys Road, outside the high school (The Heys Academy).

This will be placed atop of the existing flat top road hump outside Prestwich Arts College. This will provide enhanced facilities for pedestrians and cyclists and particularly for pupils who attend the nearby Prestwich Arts College.

This is one of five crossings proposed across Bury funded from Covid recovery monies.
